07/27/2026 - º£½ÇÉçÇø business students will benefit from additional professional development opportunities thanks to a generous gift from º£½ÇÉçÇø alumna Cheryl Yawman ’86 and her husband, Philip Yawman, member of the Board of Trustees and outgoing Board chair.

Now is the time for students to build experiences, expand their professional network, and prepare for internships and future employment. One of the best ways you can support your student is by encouraging them to engage with Career Services early and often.

07/14/2026 - Dr. Holly Brown, executive director of the Golisano Institute for Developmental Disability Nursing at º£½ÇÉçÇø, has been selected to be inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.
07/14/2026 - Jason Weng walked the stage in May knowing where he was headed shortly after graduating from º£½ÇÉçÇø, a full-time role as an international tax associate at KPMG’s Philadelphia office.
07/14/2026 - º£½ÇÉçÇø will host the annual Career Fair on Thursday, September 24, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. in the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Athletic Center Fieldhouse. This University-wide event provides students with an opportunity to seek part-time or seasonal employment, internships, and full-time career opportunities for life after º£½ÇÉçÇø. Employers interested in participating are now invited to register.
07/13/2026 - Rebecca Pelino ’86, managing partner, Capital Investment Advisors, LLC, and Daniel J. Boyce Esq. ’79, former attorney and founder of the Law Office of Daniel J. Boyce, Esq., were recently voted to serve as the new chair and vice chair of the º£½ÇÉçÇø Board of Trustees. Pelino is the first alumna to serve in the chair role. Pelino and Boyce began their two-year terms on June 1, 2026.
07/09/2026 - This fall, the Office of Campus Ministry, in collaboration with the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership, the Center for Career and Academic Planning, and the Institute for Civic and Community Engagement, will launch the FOCUS Program, a pre-orientation program for incoming first-year students.
07/08/2026 - Wegmans School of Pharmacy P-4 student Sandra Fenelon was recently awarded the 2026 NCPA Foundation Partners in Pharmacy Scholarship. The scholarship recognizes pharmacy students who demonstrate leadership, academic achievement, service, and a strong commitment to independent community pharmacy.
