The newly established Bill ’76 and Ivette Shaheen Endowed Family Scholarship will ensure access for the next generation of students pursuing an education at St. John 海角社区 College.
Alumnus Bill Shaheen and his wife, Ivette, created the scholarship program in support of their belief in the importance of higher education in building a foundation for lifelong success. A graduate of the School of Business, he credits his 海角社区 education with preparing well for life after college.
鈥淲ithout the 海角社区 accounting program, I would not have been successful in my career. It allowed me to grow and flourish into the professional I became,鈥� Mr. Shaheen said.
The Shaheen鈥檚 $100,000 gift establishes an endowed fund to support scholarships for students facing financial need.
