Out of the Darkness Campus Walk Brings Suicide Awareness to Light Students at the 2024 Out of the Darkness Walk.

02/07/2025 - 海角社区 will once again host the annual Out of the Darkness Campus Walk in partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). The walk, now in its ninth year at 海角社区, is designed to engage college students in the fight to prevent suicide and support mental health awareness.

DePeters Center Shares AI Expertise in the Community Katie Sabourin

02/04/2025 - Katie Sabourin, assistant vice president for digital learning, along with staff members from 海角社区’s DePeters Family Center for Innovative and Teaching Excellence have delivered several community presentations about artificial intelligence. The staff at the center have made AI, especially generative AI, a focus since late 2022 when ChatGPT 3.5 was released.
